Danny and Marisol's Wedding

The weather was all that could be asked for of a May wedding; blue skies, puffy white clouds left over from the previous nights rain, and a warm gentle breeze. Shabby Chic and was the theme, a style that Marisol specializes in. Under Marisol’s creative eye, the couple had carefully hand made all of the decorations for their wedding day. Together they repurposed and refinished dressers and book cases, painted vases and bottles for center pieces, carefully selected unique pieces of vintage china, such that each guest had a different plate. When all assembled with the help of their family beneath the yawning branches of a 100 year old oak tree, the lawn of Rancho Guajome Adobe was transformed into a beautiful, welcoming, wedding and reception space.

After the ceremony we shot some playful candids of the new couple. Don’t let Danny’s black hat and steel eyes fool you, he has a heart as wide as the Rio Grand. While Marisol in her elegant lace dress, smile to match, and trusty side arm knows how to keep a wandering man in line.
